Since 1980, the A.S.D. Polisportiva UICI Torino – onlus has been active in promoting recreational, motor, recreational and sports activities in the area aimed primarily at the visually impaired for the achievement of their socio-psycho-physical balance.
Torball, the most practiced discipline by blind people in the world, is a sport in which two three-member teams face each other in which the players, all blindfolded by masks, throw a sound ball with their hands while their opponents lie in front of their goal to parry the shot.
The organization’s team is one of the most established in the competitive field, even boasting a second-place finish in the Italian Serie A Championship.
Practices are held twice a week, October through May, and are open to all!
