In 2004 in Courmayeur, Valle d’Aosta, the Ecole du Sport sports club was founded with the aim of promoting and enhancing the formative and educational function of motor and sports practice, focusing in particular on young people to foster the realisation of the person in sport and in life, through individualised and person-centred work.
Today, the sports club, through its ‘Club d’Escalade’, affiliated to the Sport Climbing Federation, promotes micro-projects aimed at young people with autism or intellectual disabilities.
