In 2004, the sports club Ecole du Sport was founded in Courmayeur, Valle d’Aosta, with the aim of promoting and enhancing the formative and educational function of motor and sports practice, targeting young people in particular to foster the realisation of the person in sport and in life, through individualised and person-centred work.
The volleyball class is the first section created within the Ecole du Sport and is still affiliated with FIPAV. Today, the association mainly organises introductory sports courses aimed particularly at children with intellectual disabilities.
