Acquatrekking is a form of hiking that involves ascending rivers or streams against the current, alternating between walking in water and walking on paths that can also be practised by people approaching this type of activity for the first time.
Today, thanks to the work of the Mazzacana Sospesa association, which organises experiences for people with visual and sensory disabilities, it is possible to walk along the wonderful Lao and Iannello rivers located in the Pollino (CS) park. The meeting point is Laino Borgo or Rende. Here the person with disabilities will be welcomed by the association’s staff, informed about the route and followed throughout the experience.
