Easy Lombardy contains a wide selection of barrier-free parks and gardens that can be used by all children with disabilities. the aim is to encourage the full integration of children who are deaf, blind, have motor and cognitive difficulties. The renovation of the playgrounds has resulted in the overcoming of architectural or sensory barriers to allow freedom of movement, with the use of aids where necessary, for both children and their carers. Specifically, the following have been implemented:
-the supply and installation of inclusive games
-combined play structures,
-sports facilities and street furniture, usable by all children and young people, including those with motor, sensory, intellectual and other disabilities, together with their carers;
-securing the inclusive play area, including with a video surveillance and lighting system.
There are also accessible toilets.
