Egyptian museum

On October 10, 2004, the Museum of Egyptian Antiquities Foundation of Turin is established in Turin. Founding members are the Ministry of Cultural Heritage and Activities, the Piedmont Region, the Province of Turin (recession occurred on 01/01/2015), the City of Turin, Compagnia di San Paolo and Fondazione CRT. The Foundation, whose purpose is "the enhancement, promotion, management, and structural, functional and exhibition adaptation of the Museum, the cultural assets received or acquired for any reason, and the promotion and enhancement of museum activities," enjoys the patrimonial and economic contributions allocated to it by its founders: collection and real estate, an ordinary endowment fund (five years initially, then annual) as well as a purpose fund of 50 million euros for the Museum's renovation and refurbishment project.
