Inside the San Lorenzo Archaeological Museum there is a tour route for the blind and visually impaired.
Explanatory plaques in Braille and tablets reproducing the shapes and details of some of the most interesting exhibits have been set up, as well as faithful reproductions of some of the pieces under display.
The approach to plastic art for visually impaired and blind people takes place through the conception and construction of “tactile pathways” so as to enable the connection and association of the concrete work with the verbal content, combining the sense-perceptive experience with the intellectual one.
