Blind Tennis is a special version of the famous game adapted for blind people promoted by Virtus Tennis of Bologna. The game is played on a small court (12.80 metres x 6.40), with 23 junior rackets, sponge balls equipped with a sound device and the possibility for the player to hit the ball after the third bounce. Blind players have a mask to protect their eyes and are accompanied by operators holding the Blind Tennis Instructor qualification issued by the International Blind Tennis Association (IBTA).
