The “everywhere” project stems from the experience gained by the association Tecnici Senza Barriere OdV in promoting the culture of accessibility, with the aim of considering the social role of frail persons, facilitating their inclusion in the various areas of the Province of Sondrio.
It intends to provide a response to a specific request from the territory and operates through volunteer technicians distributed throughout the Province. It aims to offer concrete and free help to the disabled and their families in removing architectural barriers both in their homes and in the urban context they frequent.
With the help of volunteers and a mountain wheelchair (such as a ‘joelette’ or similar), people with motor difficulties/disabilities can walk along a number of trails in Valtellina and Valchiavenna that our project has mapped out as accessible to all.
Dappertutto provides mountain wheelchairs free of charge, subject to prior booking.
